Doja Cat Makeup Looks That Will Blow Your Mind

Doja Cat’s fashion and beauty looks are so out of this world that it’s easy to forget that her background is in music. Clearly an exceptional creative, her wild makeup looks are often a collaborative effort with chosen makeup artists. These are the best and most mind-blowing and genius of them all – so far!

Doja Cat wore this stunning, dramatic light blue eyeshadow look to attend the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall Winter 2024 show. The makeup was created by the super talented Pat McGrath, who states that she finished off the look with her own PAT McGRATH LABS lip gloss – Lust Gloss in the vibrant pink shade, Heavy Petal.

In 2023, Doja Cat attended the Schiaparelli show at Paris Fashion Week wearing reportedly no less than 30,000 hand-applied red Swarovski crystals all over her face and body, to match her red dress and earrings. Not an inch was left bare! This was another look in collaboration with legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, requiring incredible patience and dedication from all involved.

At Paris Fashion Week 2023, Doja Cat debuted this bold eyebrow look, substituting her real brows for silver studs (not real piercings, thankfully)! She paired this with a bleached blonde pixie haircut and stacks of silver hoop earrings for a polished punk finish. Let’s also take a moment to admire the stunning black ombré lips!

Rewinding to Paris Fashion Week 2022, Doja Cat opted for an otherworldly glam makeup look, like the couture version of an Avatar character. She paired white face paint with a bold blue contour and a striking red lip. The look didn’t stop there! She wore body paint up the length of her arms, finished with sharp talon-like nails. This look was courtesy of makeup artist Laurel Charleston, who Doja Cat has worked with multiple times.

For the 2024 Met Gala, Doja Cat donned nothing but a long, white, wet t-shirt dress. The striking outfit was complimented perfectly by metallic chrome tears seemingly running down her face. This was another makeup look achieved under the skilled hand of Pat McGrath. While McGrath rarely gives away her exact techniques, she revealed that some of the products used included her Mothership V: Bronze Seduction eyeshade palette and PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in the shade Xtreme Black.

Doja Cat famously razed off her eyebrows in 2022, which has resulted in a multitude of versatile brow makeup looks to date! For The Scarlet Tour, her makeup artist Ivan Núñez created this stunning look with super-thin 90s brows. He created the look using products exclusively by Urban Decay, including the All Nighter Hyaluronic Acid Dewy Setting Spray, Eye Shadow Primer Potion, and the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion.

For the 2024 Grammys, Doja Cat donned numerous intricately realistic temporary tattoos over her entire body. Her forehead tattoo read “Dilara Findikoglu,” who was the designer of her sheer, risqué dress that suited the makeup look perfectly. A bold red lipstick, glasses, and plenty of silver were the finishing touches.

At Vogue Magazine’s 2022 street fair and runway event, Vogue World, Doja Cat went more abstract with a white avant-garde makeup look. Her makeup artist, Laurel Charleston, is said to have hand-painted the swooping white pattern across Doja Cat’s face and scalp. The razor-sharp brows, black winged liner, and red-brown lips would have looked stunning on their own, but finished this look off perfectly.

In another delightfully campy yet stunning look, Doja Cat went the extra mile and dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette, for 2023’s Met Gala (the theme was in tribute to Lagerfeld, if you're curious). It was reportedly Doja Cat’s idea to incorporate prosthetics into the makeup look. The look was, of course, finished with a cat-eye liner, which was reportedly achieved using Charlotte Tilbury’s The Feline Flick liquid eyeliner.

In a completely camp, androgynous, wonderfully playful look, Doja Cat chose to wear false strip eyelashes in place of eyebrows to attend the Viktor & Rolf Haute Couture Spring Summer 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week. This came complete with a matching wispy mustache and soul patch. Her fearless sense of humor really came through and we seriously doubt anyone else could successfully pull this off!
